Recommendation: make a save state if game won't progress, load under interpreter, it will continue, then save again and load under dynarec and play the battle. It will continue forward on Interpreter, but the game is much less enjoyable at that framerate. Plays great on Dynarec, however there are times where the game won't move forward in battle (if there's dialogue between characters before the battle, for example). Standard controller type only & prefer Dynarec. Most sounds too long, menu extremely hard to navigate (My controller is fine.), gameplay in slow motion. Works as the older retroarchWii Beetle PlayStation Core builds, but freezes after title as the latest WiiSX builds. Not working, Graphics are totally damaged. Lot of Sound issues and freezing, just use PCSX-Revolution r84 or pSX v1.3 or PCSX-Reloaded SVN r58951 using Eternal SPU Plugin 1.50 to play the Sounds. Game is broke so you must use ePSXe v160. Sega master system emulator for PSX works perfectly fine on dynarec core.
